Confetti in a Windstorm
40x60 in framed | oil sticks, markers on brown paper
I love this title because it describes exactly what it feels like to look at it. Nothing is settled, nothing is still. Color and shape scattered mid-motion, caught at the moment before everything lands. There is joy in it but also a little chaos and I think that is honest. The best days often feel exactly like that. That series started as an experiment. Leftover paint, brown paper, no particular plan. It turned out to be some of the most honest work I have made.
