Leftovers
30x60 in framed | acrylic on wood panel
This painting started as a table. An old wooden studio table that sat in the corner while I worked on everything else. Over time I started scraping the leftover paint from other paintings onto it, whatever was left on the palette, whatever didn't make it onto a canvas. Red from one painting, blue from another, yellow, green, pink, orange. Every color I had ever used, accumulated in layers over time without any intention of making art. Then one day I looked at it and realized it had become something. Something full and alive and completely its own. I stretched it and framed it and called it Leftovers because that's exactly what it is, the sum of everything that was left behind. 30x60 inches, acrylic on wood, one of a kind. Free US shipping, arrives ready to hang.
